As soon as the call came in for a residential fire, officers reported seeing a thick black smoke column in the sky, thereby confirming that the call was legitimate. 1st, 2nd and 3rd alarms came quickly given the very high risk of propagation to two houses and one garage. One of the houses was so threatened that the very first stream installed by the 205 (first engine on scene) was a protection stream.
